ਸਕੰਦ ਪੁਰਾਣ (IAST: Skanda Purana) ਅਠਾਰਾਂ ਹਿੰਦੂ ਗ੍ਰੰਥਾਂ ਦਾ ਸੰਗ੍ਰਹਿ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡਾ ਮਹਾਂਪੁਰਾਣ ਹੈ। ਪਾਠ ਵਿੱਚ 81,000 ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਆਇਤਾਂ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਸ਼ਿਵ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਰਵਤੀ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸਕੰਦਨ ਨਾਮਕ ਕਿਸ਼ੋਰ ਦਾ ਸਾਹਿਤ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸਨੂੰ ਮੁਰੂਗਨ ਵੀ ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਹਾਲਾਂਕਿ ਇਸ ਪੁਸਤਕ ਦਾ ਨਾਂ ਸਕੰਦਨ ਦੇ ਨਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਇਹ ਸ਼ਿਵ ਨਾਲ ਸਬੰਧਤ ਹੋਰ ਪੁਰਾਣਾਂ ਜਿੰਨਾ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਪਾਠ ਇੱਕ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਇਤਿਹਾਸਕ ਦਸਤਾਵੇਜ਼ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਯੁੱਧ ਦੇ ਦੇਵਤਾ ਸਕੰਦ ਨਾਲ ਸਬੰਧਤ ਹਿੰਦੂ ਪਰੰਪਰਾਵਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵ ਪਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
