നരസിംഹപുരാണം (ഹിന്ദി: नरसिंह पुराण; Narasiṁha Purāṇa) ഉപപുരാണങ്ങളിൽ ഒന്നാണ്. ആർ.സി. ഹസ്ര തന്റെ ഉപപുരാണങ്ങളിലെ പഠനത്തിൽ[1] യഥാർത്ഥ ഗ്രന്ഥം അഞ്ചാം നൂറ്റാണ്ടിന്റെ അവസാന ഭാഗത്താണ് എഴുതിയതെന്ന നിഗമനത്തിലെത്തി, എന്നിരുന്നാലും അതിന്റെ പല ഭാഗങ്ങളും പിന്നീട് ചേർത്തു. ഏകദേശം 1300-ൽ ഈ കൃതി തെലുങ്കിലേക്ക് വിവർത്തനം ചെയ്യപ്പെട്ടു.

വാചകത്തിന്റെ അച്ചടിച്ച പതിപ്പുകൾ അവതരിപ്പിക്കുന്ന റീസെൻഷനിൽ 68 അധ്യായങ്ങളുണ്ട്. പാഠത്തിന്റെ എട്ടാം അദ്ധ്യായം യമഗീതയുടെ മൂന്ന് പതിപ്പുകളിൽ ഒന്നാണ് (മറ്റ് രണ്ട് പതിപ്പുകൾ വിഷ്ണുപുരാണം, പുസ്തകം 3, അദ്ധ്യായം.1-7, അഗ്നിപുരാണം, പുസ്തകം 3, അദ്ധ്യായം.381 എന്നിവയാണ്). 36-54 അധ്യായങ്ങളിൽ വിഷ്ണുവിന്റെ പത്ത് അവതാരങ്ങളുടെ വിവരണങ്ങൾ അടങ്ങിയിരിക്കുന്നു. 21-ഉം 22-ഉം അധ്യായങ്ങളിൽ സൂര്യവംശത്തിലെയും (സൗരവംശം) സോമവംശത്തിലെയും (ചന്ദ്രവംശം) രാജാക്കന്മാരുടെ ചെറിയ വംശാവലി പട്ടികകൾ അടങ്ങിയിരിക്കുന്നു, ആദ്യത്തേത് ശുദ്ധോനന്റെ പുത്രനായ ബുദ്ധനിലും രണ്ടാമത്തേത് ഉദയനന്റെ ചെറുമകനായ ക്ഷേമകനിലും അവസാനിക്കുന്നു. ഈ കൃതിയുടെ 57-61 അധ്യായങ്ങൾ ഹരിത സംഹിത അല്ലെങ്കിൽ ലഘുഹരിത സ്മൃതി എന്ന സ്വതന്ത്ര കൃതിയായും കാണപ്പെടുന്നു.
